to do a triathlon, but it just seemed too far, too hard? Ever wish you could have a practice race, but they just cost
too much? Now
you can!

Team in Faith is pleased to announce the introduction of the
Tuesday Night, I Want to Tri Triathlon Series,
at Beals point Folsom Lake!
Beginning April
19th through August 9th, every Tuesday
night starts with a 1-hour I want to learn to Tri triathlon
clinic at 4:30pm, (learn all you need to know to do your first
triathlon) Racing starts at 6:30 pm!
Race distances will be a 400-yard swim, 8-mile bike,
and 2-mile run!
Each week experience a new course and a new challenge!
- Swim
will be in Lake Nimbus (Kayaks
will be on the lake for your safety)
- Bike
on the American River Bike Path (No
auto Traffic)
- Run
fun and challenging course (Water
aid station at transition area)
- Prayer session 6:15 (Everyone is welcome!)
- Race meeting at 6:20 in transition area!
- Registration closes promptly at 6:15!
- We
will have a clearly marked course & aid stations!
- Take
a clinic then race the same day!
- Race one event or the whole series!
- Team in Faith is a 501-c non-profit, so instead of trophies for top finishers a portion of your entry fees goes to support our programs such as "Come to the Water"!
Nimbus Flat SRA on lake Nimbus is located off of Hazel Blvd approximately 1/8 miles north of I-50. From I-80, take Douglas Blvd East, and turn right onto Hazel Avenue. Turn left into Nimbus Flat SRA just north of I-50. Please plan for traffic!
From I-50, take Hazel Blvd North and turn right into Nimbus Flat SRA just north of I-50 and just south of CSUS aquatic center!
There is a vehicle charge or use a California State Park Annual pass
Look for Season Pass information and Multi-Race discounts!
Race and Clinic is $35 (Pre-Reg only)
Race Only is $25 (Pre-Reg $35 on Race Day)
IN 2005 we will be expanding to Lake Tahoe, the Bay Area and have a kids series. Nights and exact locations forth coming!
