Is this really a serious training group, or a group of Jesus freaks?
I've heard the term "Jesus freak" used by many people, and typically it's because someone has been overwhelmed by someone else sharing their beliefs in Christ. Team in Faith is serious about both physical training and our Christian faith. Our training sessions are not sermons, but a short message/prayer will begin each one. You will not be left out no matter what your beliefs are. We simply hope to remind and inspire our community through the words of God.
Our goal is to share the good news of Christ with all athletes, in ways that make you comfortable. So when you are ready, just ask one of the Team in Faith coaches..."what is this whole "God thing" about?"

I'm not a believer, am I truly welcome at Team in Faith?
Maybe you've gone to other Christian events and felt less than welcomed. It is team in Faith's primary goal to reach out to everyone in the community at large and welcome them as family. So YES, you are absolutely welcome. If you ever feel less than welcome, please let one of the Team in Faith coaches know immediately!

So, you're not a church? What exactly are you?
Team in Faith is not a church. However, like a church, Team in Faith is a community of people striving to live a more Christ-like life! Our purpose to to bring the good news of Christ to athletes on their own terms in an environment they are comfortable in--their sport. We believe that we are all here to learn to love and serve God. And that we can do that in the athletics that we love.
