What is important to God???

There is one thing that we can be assured of about heaven...

and that is that of all the things in this world, the one thing we are told will also be in heaven are people. That's right, of ALL of God's creations, the only one we know that will make it to the other side are people.

Perhaps you've come to terms with the fact that nothing man made will be there, and that's a big step for many of us, but have you really set your mind around the simple fact that nothing means more to God than people.

For those of us who proclaim to serve Him, we must realize the stark reality of that. God doesn't just love us. He loves all people. He may not be pleased with all of our behaviors or choices, but He never stops loving us. That's why it is critical to remember always...

People matter, all people matter... even those far from God. They matter more than material possessions, earthly distractions and any rule made by man. They matter to me, but more importantly they matter to God. Never marginalize another person, never let pride dictate a relationship, and never forget to put God first in all you do. Always take the path that says to another person... YOU are more important to me than this man made rule, YOU are more important to me than this material thing, YOU are more important to me than this earthly distraction, YOU mean more to me than anything else at this moment. Because God is paying attention to them.... because God is listening to them... because Christ lives in them....
